Surgical techniques that do not require blood transfusions are becoming more and more popular, according to an article on MSNBC. Surgeons use a variety of techniques and technologies to minimize or remove the need for costly blood transfusions during surgery.
These bloodless operations were once only available to Jehova’s Witnesses, who’s religion prohibits blood transfusions, but are now being offered tothe general public at many hospitals.
Transfusions are very costly, and also carry a risk of rejection by the patient. Many people opt to have transfusions of their own blood, drawn in advance, before a surgery. Bloodless surgery techniques save money and are better for the patient.

“Hi. I’ve started a pledge on PledgeBank.com that aims to raise enough money to replace one intrusive advert with a though-provoking message or work of art. Rather than gawk at the same old advertising every morning, we hope at least some commuters will enjoy a little mental stimulation other than their morning coffee.”
That’s right Austin wants you to pledge money that you want something to that makes you think, opposed to obnoxious advertising. For more information on this groovy idea check out Art Not Ads
A new study by the researchers at Chigago University has shown that sex is considered more satisfying in countries where men and women share more equality. Austria has the highest rates of sexual satisfaction among countries worldwide. Canada, Spain, Belgium and the United States also reported very high rates of enjoyment within peoples sex lives. Japan ranked the lowest with only 25.7% of folks reporting a good quality of romantic pleasure.
These kinds of studies can really help you to appreciate living in a country where men and womens rights are shared.
