Canadian electronic music producer Karl Mohr composes and performs evocative, moody, electronic songs with heavy beats, powerful vocal performances and dramatic, provocative lyrics. Since 1987, Mohr has released 30 cassettes of his own material. Mohr released his first compact disc in 1997, “The Heck”, which rounded up his industrial-techno work, rich with sampling and fast, heavy, electronic beats. A far more experimental and cinematic compact disc release in 2000, entitled “The End of The Line” featured some dark rock and electronic works, as well as ambient-oriented songs. After a long wait of eight years, 2002 saw the release of Mohr’s earlier Vivaldi tribute, “The Four Seasons 2117” on the Interdimensional Industries imprint. In the same year, while living in Vienna, Austria, Mohr released the mutant “Magic Christmas” holiday album, as well as the introspective lo-fi quirk electro record “Vereinsgasse”. Relocating to Toronto, he began to formulate his live presence, and brought to light the decidedly political and heavy duty retro-wave release “Tools For The Analog Revolution”. His current album, “Full Moon Film”, a marked return to his goth/glam roots, is in the mixdown stage and is slated for release in the winter of 2007.

Motion is one of Canada’s most prolific urban artists – a millennial emcee
— manipulating words to their exponential power. This award-winning artist
has over the years developed into a keen composer and intense performer at
the mic. Few rap artists have successfully elevated Hip Hop and spoken word
to a level that translates into simultaneous radio and television air time,
CD and book sales, and live stage performances. “Give her a word and she’ll
master it, turning it inside out and spitting it back freestyle, sung as
lyric, or embedded in a stanza. The sister can flow.”

Tomboyfriend is The Premier Siamese-Fighting Prom-Band behind the velvet curtain of what was formerly known as “hotel supermarket” or also “the first world.” With its mystical terrors based so-so on the songwriting of so-so beloved, devilish, nominally gorgeous and lush entertainer Mr. Ryan Kamstra and the exuberance of its members, Tomboyfriend is a rotating cast and crew of artist contributors, including at one time or other Lindsey Fischer, Susan Bustos, Marlena Zuber, Karilynn Ming Ho, Sherwin Tjia, Jim Munroe, Margaux Williamson, Touch Boy, Lauren Bride and scads and scads more. They were born in September 2006. People like their End of Poverty song a lot. The other songs quite a bit too. Currently they are gathering dark powers towards the birth of a second demi-hit “Stop Being.” They have been called “cute.” Now Magazine: “Cleverly warped crunchy pop deconstructions of bisexuality, promiscuity, fashion and more; what nerdcore kids and those who love them get down to on the dance floor. ”
