I'm from Portland and urban farming seems to be on lots of people's mind, with the growing popularity of weekend markets and all. It's very cool stuff. In out last issue we focused on the rising popularity of urban chicken-farming. The small-scale kind, with a few chickens per household. It cracks me up. Everybody's right, just keep on localizing.
